A table lamp with art-glass panels in a case of African Mahogany.
The perception of depth into the water is achieved with three
separate
glass panels,
each with its own water-like texture.
The layering of
the glass allows the shadow of a distant object
to appear through the transparent leaves in the forground.
These works
are designed and created by Skip Thomsen of Forestville, California
The design
and execution of each of these pieces is unique and
will never be reproduced. All original designs and patterns for
the glass and the cases are destroyed after the piece is completed.
