A two-sided table
lamp featuring a tropical island moonlight scene on each side.
The scenes are
complimentary to each other, but not identical. There is also
a lighted glass
panel on each end of the unit.
The case is crafted
of African Mahogany with the legs and trim
done in Wenge,
another African exotic wood that is nearly black.
The base displays
carefully cut and bookmatched pieces
of African Mahogany
with exceptionally dramatic grain.
The lighting in
this piece features a beautiful glowing moon behind the clouds,
and its refelction
on the water. These light sources appear to move
across the scene
relative to your viewing angle.
These pieces are
individually hand made with extraordinary attention to detail.
Each is unique,
completely original and all patterns for each are destroyed when
the project is complete.
There are some similarities between some of the lamps, but there
are no two alike.
Each is signed by the artist and is accompanied by a signed Certificate
of Authenticity.
