41" high

A bamboo-themed art-glass table lamp with a base
crafted of Hawaiian Curly Koa and African Wenge.
This dramatic accent piece stands 3 1/2 feet tall.

The Asian-influenced design was influenced by the several stands of tall, graceful bamboo
found all over the Windward side of the Big Island of Hawaii, and also in the artist's Hilo backyard.
The colors were selected to portray the actual ambiance of living bamboo, with a soft
amber background to complete the warm, gracious glow of the piece.

Above left is a close-up of the top of this piece. At the right is a close-up of the
detail work at the bottom, plus the base of Hawaiian Curly Koa.

The design is duplicated on both sides, although the colors of the leaves is unique to each panel.
The design also flows around the sides back into the Koa case.
The lighting is provided by two 14 watt fluorescent lamps.

These pieces are individually hand made with extraordinary attention to detail. Each is unique,
completely original and all patterns for each are destroyed when the project is complete.
There are some similarities between some of the lamps, but there are no two alike.
Each is signed by the artist and is accompanied by a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
